I’m slowly working my way back into keeping the digital version of my life more up to date. As you can see, I’ve added my Twitter feed to the right hand column of the site to take care of the small stuff, which will hopefully make A&W seem less static than it has been over the last months (ok, ok, years). Hopefully that will help assuage the guilt of not posting even the smallest of items just to get something of interest up here so that I can actually write a few decent posts.
I also finally managed to put up three months worth of Flickr pictures that have been lying stagnant on my hard drive since Gustav hit. There are galleries for September, October and November of 2008, with December – present not too far behind, hopefully.
The holidays were good, pretty quiet and low key, which means that this post-holiday/football season, pre Mardi Gras downtime has been even more quiet and low key, which as left me kind of spinning my wheels and looking for some action. Wgo and I made a very quick trip down to NOLA yesterday to catch the last day of Prospect.1, a city-wide art exhibition that had been running since November. The first weekend in February I’m riding the Tammany Trace with my dad to celebrate his birthday which is something that we’ve been planning to do for a number of years. So between that and whatever other trouble I can find, maybe I can keep myself occupied until things get a little less sleepy.
